Welcome to the special web site that has been set up by The Texas Union to provide information related to the visit of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to the University of Texas at Austin on September 20-21, 2005.

On Tuesday, September 20, His Holiness gave a public talk titled "Individual Responsibility in the Global Community" before a full house of 12,500 people at the Frank Erwin Center on the University of Texas campus.
