 A bodhi tree (ficus religiosa) was donated to The Texas Union in commemoration of the Dalai Lama's visit to the university. The tree, surrounded by a custom wood planter and bench, is a permanent addition the Union's Presidential Lobby. His Holiness blessed the tree on September 21 when he came to campus to meet with local Tibetans and university student leaders. |
